POLICE OFFICER CHARGED WITH SEXUALLY ASSAULTING THREE WOMEN IN YORK NIGHTCLUB
A police officer is scheduled to appear in court facing charges of sexual assault in York.
The 43-year-old suspect, originally from Morley in Leeds, has been accused of committing three separate sexual assaults against women inside a nightclub in York during the early hours of Sunday, December 1, 2024.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed that the individual facing charges is PC Martin Brough, who is 43 years old and works in the Operational Support division of the West Yorkshire force.
He is expected to appear before York Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
The allegations involve three different women in York city centre in December 2024, and the incidents occurred while the officer was off duty.
At present, he has been suspended from his police duties.
